The company put on regular staff events (virtual and in person) giving staff members the opportunity to get together. Every member of staff is actively encouraged to further their own development and promote a very healthy home/work-life balance. This isn’t something that all employers do.
It is 100% remote and they have been since they began, which offers great flexibility. We are also rewarded regularly with ‘treats’, we’ve received brownies through the post and non-alcoholic beer for an online company pub quiz that was put together by a member of the team. We have informal events such as a pub quiz, bingo session at least every 2 months.
As well as this, the company pays for a meet up every 6 months and this is invaluable to further building a relationship with colleagues as we all work remotely.
