In this, the fifth monthly update of 2022, we take a closer look at everything from Google’s sharing of further insights into audience signals and their impact on performance max campaigns, to how long it takes for your Google Ads to start generating your desired results, to our comprehensive deep dive into the future of digital marketing.
As summer rears its much welcomed head, it’s great sometimes to just stop, pause and take a look back over the previous month, as it can be immeasurably beneficial to see just how far the hard work and dedication of our incredible team has brought us in what has been a truly outstanding month for our PPC agency.

PPC News May 2022 Overview: We began the month of May by digesting the news that Google, almost unannounced we must add, shared a number of insights into audience signals and their impact on performance max campaigns. What came as a relative surprise to a host of Google Ads specialists, many of which had been struggling to process the new ad type anyway, signalled a fresh step in Google’s journey to be more transparent with its users.

They don’t limit your ads to those audiences, instead they aim to find the most conv/conv value. [Moreover], use audience insights to see top segments to inform assets and landing pages.” In short, while this cleared up a number of issues, the facts remain the same: Google’s new audience signals are extremely unique and relatively unpredictable, despite their importance in kick starting your campaigns.
